What is Pilates?
The Pilates method is a balanced, safe and effective approach to fitness conditioning that it can be practiced at any age by everyone. It is great because it addresses both general and specific goals –whether it’s about every day activities , work, sports performance or preventing and recovering from injuries or simply for a better health, overall.
When you will find yourself practicing Pilates you will experience that your mind align with your body and not only that , you will feel and look great.
Created by Joseph Pilates, Contrology (this is how initially was called by Joseph itself), is a method that combines a repertoire of almost 50 exercises (it depends on the Pilates school) that will be performed by following the Pilates Principles:
- Breathing
- Concentration
- Control
- Centering
- Precision
- Fluidity
- Isolation
- Routine
s you can imagine by practicing Pilates all the above aspects will be assimilated in your day-to-day life and it will do so much more that tone you up and fix your posture.
Now that you know that the Pilates method trains your body and mind to work together, it is time to set up the context for practicing. We all know that when we are in groups we are tempted to compete and compare and Pilates is about mindful movement and looking at yourself and feeling your body.
Yes this requires self-discipline and motivation and this is where a coach will come in handy to guide your movement and to design the training that will suit your purpose.
The fact that you are reading these lines shows that you are on the right way, so step up for your wellbeing and fill in the contact form to get in touch with me and from there you’ll only see improvements in your life. You only need room for your mat, an internet connection and I will take it from there, you just have to enjoy the movement that your body is able to perform.
And I will leave a quote of J.P that I really felt on my own and I am happy to pass the good news forward:
You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions.

Sincerely, Claudia
