Proud Pilates Tribe

I’ve always been curious about how the body works — but I learned its lessons the hard way.
During university, I pushed myself past balance. Long hours , skipped meals and a schedule that left no room to breathe eventually caught up with me. For six months, my body stopped responding, I had amenorrhea.
A doctor looked at me and said, “If you keep going like this, you won’t make it to graduation.”

At the time, I wasn’t trying to harm myself — I was simply disconnected. My mind was always ahead of my body.

After graduation, I moved to Italy in search of a new rhythm, but there, my health tested me again. I developed a severe milk intolerance and after cutting dairy, lost ten kilos in a year. That’s when I realized: wellness isn’t about control — it’s about communication.

When I returned to Romania, my body spoke to me once more — this time through back pain.
That pain became the turning point. It led me to Pilates, not as an exercise, but as a language. A way to reconnect, to strengthen, and to listen. And because I always loved good food, I also graduated a nutritionist course in order to understand better how to support my body with nutrients not just empty calories .

Today, as a Pilates instructor and nutrition coach, I help others do the same — to rebuild from the inside out, to move with awareness, and to treat their bodies not as machines to fix, but as complex system to understand.

Because true balance isn’t found in perfection — it’s found in presence.
